The little girl
The Little Girl, Thailand by Noon
Noon comes from a small Christian village. Noon is Thai Karen and recently married. Noon was a teacher at Thonnam School and would love to teach again. She speaks three languages and her English is great. Her favourite colour is orange.
In this photograph is one of Noon’s younger sisters, her name is Chazee. In the Karen language the name means “a star that is far away”. This photograph was taken in Noon’s grandfathers’ home village, Huay Tong. Noon enjoys the repetition of window shapes and the way her sister is peeking through the window.
